How do I start hosting a Moodle site on Moodiy?

Start by choosing the hosting plan that matches your users, storage, support, and customization needs. For Essentials hosting, site creation is designed to be self-service and usually completes quickly after registration or payment. In the client portal, choose the plan, complete checkout if payment is required, then continue to the site creation step and choose your site URL. Premium and Enterprise hosting involve more manual setup. After purchase, the client portal may show a pending activation or requirements step while the Moodiy team prepares the service. After your Moodle site is ready, use the client portal to manage the subscription and use the Moodle admin account inside the Moodle site to manage courses, users, and site settings.

How do I reset my Moodle or Moodiy password?

Use the reset path for the account you are trying to access. For a Moodle site password, open your Moodle site login page and use the Lost password or forgotten password link. Moodle will send reset instructions if the account and email address are valid for that Moodle site. For the Moodiy client portal password, use the portal login or password reset flow. If you are already signed in and your account supports password changes, use Settings and Change Password. If you use single sign-on or another external login method, the password may need to be changed with that identity provider instead of inside Moodle or Moodiy. Contact support if the reset email does not arrive, your email address has changed, or you are unsure whether the account is for Moodle or the Moodiy client portal.

What do I need on my computer to use a Moodiy-hosted Moodle site?

You only need a modern device, a current web browser, and a reliable internet connection. For the best experience, use a recent version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge with JavaScript and cookies enabled. Some Moodle activities, file uploads, video sessions, or quizzes may need a stable connection and enough device storage for downloads. Learners can also use the MooDIY Premium App for Moodle where mobile access is enabled for the site. Mobile access still follows the limits and settings of the Moodle site and hosting plan. If a page does not load correctly, try updating the browser, clearing browser cache for the site, disabling conflicting extensions, and testing from another network.

How long does it take for a new Moodle site to be ready?

Setup time depends on the product type. Essentials sites are designed for automated setup and are usually ready within minutes after registration or payment and after you complete the site creation step. Premium and Enterprise hosting use dedicated or manual setup steps. The client portal may show pending activation, a requirements form, or a Continue Setup task while the Moodiy team prepares the service. Premium hosting can take about one business day because dedicated infrastructure needs to be configured and tested. If payment is complete but the portal still shows action required, open the pending setup task and complete any missing requirements. If the status is in progress and no action is requested from you, the Moodiy team is working on it.

How do I access my Moodle site after it is created?

After your Moodle site is active, you can open it from the Moodiy client portal. From the dashboard 1. Sign in to the Moodiy client portal. 2. Open Dashboard. 3. In Your sites, select the Moodle site you want to access. 4. On the site overview page, click Log in to Moodle. The Moodle site opens in a new browser tab or window. From Moodle Sites 1. Sign in to the Moodiy client portal. 2. Open Services, then Moodle Sites. 3. Find the site you want to access. If you manage more than one site, use the search or status filters. 4. Click Login for that site. On smaller screens, the same action may appear on the site card instead of in a table row. If the login button is not available The Login or Log in to Moodle button is normally available only after the Moodle hosting service is active. If the site still shows a pending or provisioning status, wait for setup to finish or check the setup-time article. If the site is active but you still cannot log in, check whether the service is suspended, under maintenance, or showing an alert in the client portal. If you need to reset a Moodle or Moodiy password, use the password reset guide. Contact support if the login link is unavailable, opens the wrong site, or shows an error after the site is active. Include the site URL and the message shown in the client portal or Moodle.
