How do I get started with hosting my Moodle site?

The first step is choosing a plan according to the number of users you expect and the storage you need. Pay for it if it is not the Free Plan. Then, just choose a sub-domain name along with one of the MooDIY domain choices, This will become your Moodle sitename and the base URL e.g. mymoodlename.moodiydomain.com . That is all. Your Moodle site will be created right away and a link will be provided to you for logging into it as a Moodle admin.

How do I reset my password for my Moodle site hosted at MooDIY?

After visiting your Moodle site, click on the 'Log In' link as usual and in the Login Box that appears, click on the 'Lost Password' link usually placed below the 'Log in' Button. Provide either of the details in the next screen to receive an email with the Password Reset link and instructions.

What are the minimum requirements on my laptop/desktop to use Moodle hosted on MooDIY?

MooDIY works with all modern browsers with cookies and Javascript enabled. Using current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge are strongly recommended for best performance and security. Cookies and Javascript need to be enabled in your browsers for many Moodle features.

Can I have more than one site on the same MooDIY account?

Yes, you can have multiple Moodle sites with free as well as paid MooDIY plans using the same MooDIY account. Each of your Moodle sites will have its own user and storage limit according to their respective plans.

Can I change my Moodle site details hosted at MooDIY? Which details can be changed?

You can change the Moodle URL for your Moodle site from the Moodle client portal. You can also upgrade or downgrade your MooDIY plan for a Moodle site if there is a change in your user and/or storage requirements. Other details in the Moodle can be changed by logging in to the Moodle site as a Moodle admin.

Can I change my MooDIY account details?

Your username and email address cannot be changed in your MooDIY account. You can only change your name and your organization details in your MooDIY account.
