What are MooDIY's pre-configured Moodle features?

For user simplicity and best performance, we have pre-configured some features and options and these cannot be enabled/modified by the owner of any MooDIY site. You can tell a configuration setting is disabled if it has the label “Defined in config.php” next to it in settings.

What is the default Moodle theme on MooDIY?

Moodle sites on MooDIY come with the Boost theme set up by default. Other themes available on MooDIY are Adaptable, Moove, Academi and Classic. MooDIY Essentials plans do not allow installing your own themes. However you can customise many aspects of the above theme e.g. colours, logos, css styles. Which tool is provided for video conferencing?

Big Blue Button is provided for video conferencing along with all the plans. MooDIY Essentials plans come pre-installed with third-party video conferencing tools like Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams as well.

How do I add my learners to my Moodle courses on MooDIY?

You can either do this manually one by one or let them enrol themselves using an enrolment key or using a payment gateway like PayPal. Alternatively, you can do this first by uploading the learners through the upload user feature in Moodle. You can upload as many learners as are allowed in your plan. Once the users are uploaded and enrolled to the courses (csv file), they will be informed upon their enrolment into the courses by email. They can then access your Moodle site on MooDIY through the same site URL and using their own usernames and passwords.

How can I incorporate my branding on the LMS site?

You can add your branding by making the relevant settings on the Front Page in site Administrator. You can add your logo and change the name of the site. Further, you can change the colours of the site as per your logo colours by going to Theme Settings in the Appearance section under Site Administrator.
