Start the custom domain request from the Moodiy client portal before changing DNS.
A typical flow is:
- Open the relevant Moodle site or subscription in the client portal.
- Start or review the custom domain request.
- Wait for the DNS instructions for that request.
- Add the requested DNS record at your domain provider.
- Return to the portal to review the request status.
- Keep the existing site URL available until the custom domain and SSL setup are complete.
DNS changes can take time to propagate. If the request remains pending after you have updated DNS, confirm that the record value matches the instructions exactly and that there are no conflicting records.
Contact support if you need to change the requested domain, if the request expires, or if the domain is already in use.
